Our Friends

 

The first time I saw m Jamaican guest's two Rhodesian Ridgebacks, it was love at first sight. My only thought, once back home, was getting one. So I started my search until, also thanks to the help and intuition of Sandra Piscedda, I found at Murenga Breeding Farm, Murenga Kwena, the fulfilment of a dream. Smart, pleasant, possessive, funny, engaging as all other Rhodesian Ridgebacks, with many peculiarities: guard dog, threatening when defending her property (us, other dogs, territory), companion dog and hunting dog.

After Kwena, Tika arrived, the sweetest dog in the world.

My joy and cheerfulness infected everybody, so we decided to start up our breeding farm and, thanks to Sandra and her precious tips, we widened the company though keeping our dogs free to move around the country.

Then we got Poli, a White Toy Poodle, to keep company to Kwena and Tika. So we started our discovery of Poodles, also thanks to the experience of our friend Donatella Liurni of the breeding farm Definitive Cherish.

Afterwards we were looking for some guard dogs for the farm and we got two Hovawart.

Now we have 38 dogs of 4 different breeds: 7 Rhodesian Ridgebacks, 10 Hovawarts and 21 Poodles (miniatures and toys / white, black, brown), 1 Lhasa Apso.

Obviously the puppies are granted only if the prospective master shows to be able to love and take care of them.

Anyway the family is destined to grow.
